This little nugget of mine is one week old already! My, has time flown by.
Our first week as a fam bam has been incredible. A true whirl wind of emotions and such deep love. I am so amazed by how much more in love I am with Vince and how there's room to be so in love with this little guy.
He is the sweetest baby in the world. Go ahead, call me bias. But it's true! He is a dream.
Some noteworthy moments:
1. Daddy is a great diaper changer and mommy has only had to change a few.
2. Breast feeding was hard at first but the nips are feeling way better these days.
3. Daddy has been taking great care of mommy and getting her everything she needs/wants.
4. Family has been sweet with food drop offs, paid for in baby cuddles.
5. We can't put baby down. Ever.
6. True hates diaper changes.
7. The pups! Oh the pups love baby. Such a sweet surprise!
8. It's impossible to sleep when baby sleeps. All we do is stare. And ooh and aah. And cuddle. And stare some more.
9. True likes to pee on himself. Silly man
10. Umbilical cord stumps are a little scary to mommy.
11. True is a loud eater/ breather. But the noises are so sweet.
And finally...
12. We made our first trip out of the casa on Thursday & made our way to Target for some much needed mommy essentials. The car ride was traumatizing as True did not enjoy the car seat and not being held as per usual. But did enjoy the baby wrap & bouncing down the aisles. Short trip but much needed.
Week one with this little man has been a dream. We are truly lucky parents & a happy little crew.
