Look at this big two week old! I feel like he looks like a totally different kid now. It's amazing how quickly their features change and develop.
We went to visit our ND appointment this past week and discovered he has some mild reflux that we are hoping to fix with me eliminating dairy from my diet. Wish me luck ladies & gents!
He is already so strong. He loves to hold his head up for short periods of time and move it from side to side. It's such an amazing thing to see.
He still hates being on his back but love, love, loves tummy time.
His little personality has been showing through in the form of feistiness at the boob. He gets silly when he can't find it, but gee they're kinda hard to miss buddy!
As of Wednesday he weighs 9lb 13oz.
He doesn't seem to enjoy bath time very much but he looks so dang cute in his hooded towel so fresh and so clean, clean.
He's been averaging about 2.5-3 hour sleep segments at night. Usually likes to eat for 30 min at a time. But there's no true routine down yet. I've been trying hard not to wake Vince for help at night as he goes back to work on Monday and I'll have to start rockin it solo in the eve then.
We made our first big trip out of the house on Thursday. Drove about 45 minutes north to visit my grandparents. It was so nice to have True meet his great grandma & grandpa and to get some pics for him. The drive wasn't so bad either! Only had to make one little pit stop but overall Truett did great. I was so relieved!

ReplyDeleteHe is just too stinkin' cute!!! I love reading all these posts! They are jogging so many memories for me of when Lily was a tiny baby! Gosh quickly it flies and quickly you forget so much stuff! So glad you are jotting it all down in your blog! Wish I would have made mine A LOT sooner!!! Hope ya'll are doing well!!!
